The Schaeffler technical team will once again be out in force to demonstrate the company’s  products at three high profile UK exhibitions over the coming weeks.

The global technology giant will be exhibiting at the MechanEx shows at Alexandra Palace, London on April 19/20 and Event City, Manchester, on May 17/18 before  taking centre stage at the inaugural Automechanika UK exhibition at the NEC Birmingham on June 7-9.

Malcolm Short, Technical Services Manager for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket in the UK, said, “The MechanEx shows will once again give us the opportunity to engage with our garage workshop customers and give them practical advice and demonstrations on using our products before we move on to the first Automechanika exhibition to be held in the UK.” He added, “We will have a major presence at Automechanika on what is the biggest stand at the show at more than 300 square metres. We will also be demonstrating our motorsport heritage, with two renowned race cars on display as well as a video wall featuring on-track exploits.”

Schaeffler staff will be giving practical hands-on technical demonstrations on its original equipment (OE) LuK clutch, INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearing brands, as well as the newly introduced range of Ruville engine, cooling and suspension components.

Amongst the demonstrations on offer will be advice on how to fit the growing range of LuK 2CT double clutches (including the latest version found in the Ford Powershift transmission), Dual Mass Flywheels (DMFs), FAG Gen II bearings, INA Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) systems and Ruville thermal management systems (including vacuum and electrically controlled water pumps) and timing chain components.

In addition, the company will be encouraging workshops to sign-up to its new and improved REPXPERT online portal for workshop professionals, which offers everything to make life for an independent garage mechanic that little bit easier. Professional mechanics who register before the show, or are already members, will be offered the chance of a special ‘VIP experience’ when they use the special Automechanika ticket link coming soon on www.repxpert.co.uk. Numbers are strictly limited for this unique opportunity, which includes hospitality on the stand plus a backpack stuffed with REPXPERT goodies.
