German parts supplier febi is offering a convenient and cost effective solution to an increasing common problem with the crankcase breather valve on popular Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda models.

This component has a common failure where the PCV Valve gets stuck in the open position, something that can cause engine oil contamination, oil leakages, increased fuel consumption, starting issues and other problems.

In some other instances the crank case breather valve can remaining closed, the valve can become clogged, or the system hose can disconnect or become ruptured, causing a leak.

Some of the common symptoms of these failures are; an increase of internal engine pressure, failure of oil seals, oil leaks, moisture/sludge build-up in the engine and black smoke from the exhaust.

febi can offer an economical replacement for this in demand item in the form of part number: 46604 (OE ref: 06F 129 101 N S1). This part fits; Audi A3 (8P), A4 (8E) / Seat Altea (5P), Leon (1P) / Skoda Octavia (1Z) / VW Golf 6 (5K) and the Passat (3C).
