Juratek has announced the launch of its new range of brake callipers which will be distributed in Ireland by Strongline Autoparts.

The new range features a wide selection of brake callipers that are all approved for fitting in any European country under BER Regulation (EC) 461/2010. The calipers are 100% new calipers, so no old core or surcharges need to apply.

Juratek have been supplying the automotive industry for over 20 years with the highest quality braking components and the addition of callipers will build on this well established and popular brand’s success.

Quality is always of paramount importance in all Juatek brake components which is why the design and production of its brake discs and drums is controlled by in-house engineers carrying out stringent quality checks using precision measuring equipment. Pads, shoes, discs and drums are not only approved to ECE R90 regulations, but we also exceed this by meeting OE industry designed tests SAE2521 & SAE2522.

The same approach to quality is applied to the new Brake Calipers with rigorous testing of all components. One of the most important tests is the high and low pressure test. Each caliper is low pressure tested with a 0.6MPA pressure which lasts for 5 seconds, then a high pressure test is done under 4MPA which also lasts 5 seconds. If there is no pressure loss, then the product is approved for sale.

The Juratek range of calipers can be viewed in Autocat, TecDoc and in the Juratek online catalogue.
