“Customise Your Kit” proving popular at Induction Innovations
Share:

Last year induction heating tool supplier, Induction Innovations, introduced a “Customise your kit” option that allowed customers and authorised resellers to select which attachment they wanted when purchasing an Inductor Pro-Max and Inductor Lite. The innovation has proved very popular as it offers workshop flexibility and even more job efficiency savings.

One of the team responsible for making sure customers get their right options is Steve Butt. In his role as Induction Innovations’ Assembler and Shipping and Receiving Associate he is also responsible for moulding and painting the attachments for the Glass Blaster, Pro-Max and Max, as well as coordinating tool repairs and quality control duties.

Steve says he enjoys working for the company because of its family atmosphere and team ethic. He also says it is satisfying to know that his work is making the technicians life easier in the workshop. He points out that more and more customers are taking advantage of the “Customise your kit” option and the diverse range of attachments available.

For customers the customise option is a simple 3 step process. Firstly, they choose their base induction heating model, either the Inductor Pro-Max (PMP1) or the Inductor Lite (ILP1).

Step 2 is to choose from a selection of attachments. For the Pro-Max these are:
  • Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Baton (U-111): removes hail dents, door dings and soft dents
  • Fast-Off Pad (U-211): removes side moldings, pinstriping and adhesives
  • Glass Blaster (U-311): removes windshields, sunroofs, and spray-on bedliners
  • Concentrator (U-411): removes seam sealers, shock absorbers and fasteners
  • Rosebud (U-511): used for frames, structure repair, stress relieving, and fabricating
  • Mini-Ductor (U-555): like a Mini-Ductor II with a cord but provides 40% more power – excellent for removing bearings, gears, pulleys, bolts, and O2 sensors

For the Inductor Lite power supply:

  • Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Baton (IL-111): removes hail dents, door dings and soft dents
  • Fast-Off Pad (IL-211): removes side moldings, pinstriping and adhesives
  • Glass Blaster (IL-311): removes windshields, sunroofs, and spray-on bedliners
  • Concentrator (IL-411): removes seam sealers, shock absorbers and fasteners

Step 3 is to place the order.

Johanna Tovar, Director of Business Development, comments, ""We are always looking for ways to add value to both users of induction heating equipment and our channel partners, so offering our “Customise your kit” option is a way for us to add value and give our customers what they're asking for."
