The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) has announced that HELLA has become the 14th company to join the group and will participate in the forthcoming AutoInform Live training event.

The European HELLA operation is an OE supplier of innovative lighting and electronic products for the entire vehicle industry, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles and specialist applications. The company has a longstanding commitment to research and development, as well as many years industry experience, meaning it is a highly trusted partner of the vehicle manufacturers.

HELLA’s decision to join has been welcomed by OESAA Chairman Nigel Morgan, Managing Director of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, owners of the LuK clutch, INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearing OE brands. He said, "HELLA is a world famous brand which is renowned for its OE pedigree and product quality. The company’s decision to join OESAA will only strengthen the campaign and we are delighted that it will become an active member and will participate in AutoInform Live.” He added, "It is important that as a group we keep up the momentum of the campaign. Our members all share a common concern – safety, and we want every mechanic in every workshop to recognise and understand the risk of fitting inferior or sub-standard non-tested parts.”

OESAA is the driving force behind AutoInform Live. The interactive weekend is being held at the GTG Training Academy in Wolverhampton on November 28 and 29th. It will provide delegates with live on-vehicle training, demonstrations and diagnostics, IMI certified courses, troubleshooting tips and business know-how from industry experts, advice on how to repair and replace the latest OE parts using the best tools for the job.
