Volvo has recently updated its diagnosis website to offer refinishers valuable information about Volvo-approved aftermarket products, from a variety of manufacturers and best methods of paint repair on Volvo cars. This particular section of the VIDA website (Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales) is accessible, at different levels, to anyone within the industry.

For refinishers, VIDA, which replaces a hard-copy manual, is an invaluable resource for all paint products used by Volvo, including, amongst others, all DuPont Refinish products. On the website, refinishers can access information on the DuPont Refinish approved paint processes for a specific vehicle, as well as find product application information, safety data sheets and training information, in order to help them repair Volvo cars as productively as possible.

All DuPont Refinish paint systems have been thoroughly tested by Volvo in order to become Volvo approved. Volvo recommends the use of waterborne basecoat technology Cromax®, a productive refinish system that offers ease-of-use and excellent coverage capabilities and is compliant to EU emissions legislation as well.
