Bosch cabin filter provide workshop profit boost

Bosch is helping workshops across Ireland to boost their service profit by ensuring that cabin filters are changed in line with vehicle manufacturer recommendations.

Cabin filters should always be changed as part of regular maintenance and maintenance of air conditioning systems. It is especially important at this time of year as pollen and pollution levels are high. Bosch says its cabin filters reliably separate pollen and fine dust from the air. In addition, a correctly functioning cabin filter can also protect the air conditioning system and improve the visibility by reducing the amount of deposits settling on the inside of the windscreen.

Bosch recommends replacing cabin filters at least once a year or every 9,000 miles. However, on many vehicles cabin filters have not been changed meaning that there is significant business potential for garages. A recent survey showed that approximately 65% of cars in Europe are running with a contaminated cabin filter.

In these times of heighted health awareness, customers also appreciate the cabin filter being changed and the health benefits it can bring. Most filters can be replaced quickly and at a relatively low cost and it is a change that customer really notice in terms of fresher in-car air.

Bosch offers a comprehensive range of over 500 cabin filters covering 95% of the EU market vehicle parc. Each Bosch cabin filter features high-quality materials, advanced manufacturing and technical know-how. Bosch aims to offer the right filter for every need and budget, thanks to three technologies, Bosch FILTER+, with anti-allergy and anti-bacterial effects, for superior air quality inside the car, Bosch activated carbon cabin filters, for noticeably purer and more pleasant air inside the car and Bosch standard cabin filters for clean air inside the car.
