As well as the very latest vehicle spec oils, German motor oil and additive specialist, LIQUI MOLY, will be presenting its innovative Gear Tronic equipment at Automechanika. This advanced equipment is designed to provide a convenient solution to the problem of automatic transmission fluid replacement.

Ibrahim Memis of LIQUI MOLY says, "Gear Tronic makes even a complicated process child's play and thereby opens up an additional income opportunity to the garage." He points out that unlike motor oil, with an ATF change you cannot simply release the drain plug. ATF replacement is a dynamic process which requires the fill quantity in the automatic transmission to remain the same throughout the entire process to avoid the vehicle's electronic system reporting an error.

Gear Tronic can avoid any problems as the machine and the additives enable professional mechanics to offer complete transmission oil service including cleaning, flushing and re-filling. The process is monitored by two digital scales, to ensure that the quantity of new fluid added to the transmission is exactly equal to the quantity of old fluid taken out.

Also on display at LIQUI MOLY stand will be Molygen new generation oils. These are special motor oils that differ from all other oils, with a unique green colour which comes from the special wear protection, which is based on tungsten, among other substances. The chemical agents smooth the metallic surfaces in the engine and even out tiny, microscopic bumps. This reduces friction in the engine and therefore also fuel consumption. The advanced formulation can also educe wear by up to 30%.

LIQUI MOLY will be in hall 19 at stand B40 in the NEC.
