Special D-Max
Isuzu Ireland has been busy building a special Isuzu D-Max prototype for the Gardai and other emergency services. It has a 3.0-litre engine and is purposely designed for Police Forces, Coast Guards and Fire Services.
Under the specially designed ‘Pod’ that covers the cargo area of the pickup, special storage areas are designed to hold traffic cones, road signs, fire extinguishers and compressors. Isuzu has also deigned other bespoke storage systems for the safe carriage of smaller items.
