Dyson gives recovery firm a birthday bonus

Alpha Recovery's latest addition to its fleet is a highly impressive Iveco Stralis based Commander CL500HP with top-rated 560hp HP Cursor engine, and low-line underlift capable of extending to 4.2 metres. The monster truck is the work of Roger Dyson who gave Alpha the added bonus of a second winch worth some £5,000 but fitted by Roger Dyson at no extra cost.

The powerful Commander heavy recovery truck was the first to roll out of the Dyson factory in Droitwich, Worcestershire, UK, since the specialist manufacturer announced its intention to build 40, limited edition body conversions with "no cost" upgrades. The move is Roger's way of saying thank you to the industry, to mark his four decades in business.

Based in the North East of England, Alpha Recovery is also celebrating an anniversary of its own this year as it marks 25 years in business. Director Michael Burke says he has been dealing with Roger Dyson since the very start and usually buys at least one Dyson vehicle conversion each year. "The first spec lift I ever bought was supplied by Roger 25 years ago," recalls Mr Burke. "I've remained a loyal customer ever since."

The free upgrade offer covers every product in the Dyson range, which includes Enforcer wheel lifts, Hydraloader slidebeds, vehicle and equipment transporters, Commander heavy recovery units, NRC sliding and rotating cranes. Even Landoll travelling axle trailers qualify for free upgrades.

Limited edition models are available on a "first come, first served" basis, so operators wishing to take advantage of one of the great deals on offer should register their interest or contact Roger without delay on 0044 1905 775808/9.
