Automechanika (14 – 19 September 2010)
Automechanika Frankfurt opens its doors for the 21st time from 14 - 19
September 2010. A record event in 2008 saw 161,000 visitors from 146
nations fly to Frankfurt.
Half of all visitors to the show were international. 4,471 exhibitors
from 80 countries presented their products and innovations, and with
80% of exhibitors coming from outside Germany, automechanika is
unmatched in terms of scope and internationality.
Automechanika
offers a unique spectrum of products from the fields of automotive
parts, car washing, workshop and filling-station equipment, repair and
maintenance, IT and management, accessories and tuning. It’s the
meeting place for the sector and renowned for international business,
presenting the entire automotive aftermarket process chain from
point-of-sale, via services, to recycling and waste disposal.
The new Hall 11 with around 24,000 square metres of exhibition space
will be occupied by the ‘Repair & Maintenance’ segment. The concept
of merging the body-repair and paintwork segments has been given a very
good reception by the industry.
Despite the current economic climate, automechanika 2010 looks set to
bring some 4,400 exhibitors and over 160,000 trade visitors to
Frankfurt. The entire automotive industry eagerly awaits the world’s
