Ford Ireland has appointed TV presenter Karen Koster as a Ford Ambassador.  Karen who is a presenter on TV3's Xposé recently took delivery of a new Ford Kuga Titanium.

A Dublin native, Karen graduated from Trinity College with a degree in English Literature and French, before joining TV3 in 2004.  She first presented on the flagship TV3 Ireland AM programme before joining Xposé in 2007.  In addition to anchoring the primetime fashion and entertainment show, she has also hosted the VIP Style Awards, the Midday talk show and the inaugural TV3 Christmas Toy Show.

"It's fantastic to have Karen on board as a Ford Ambassador.  We were looking for someone that embodied what the Kuga represents and I believe that Karen is that person - stylish, strong and sophisticated," says Ciaràn McMahon, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland.  "Not only is Karen a very skilled TV presenter but she's also a new mum so safety is going to be top of her list when it comes to choosing a car.  The Ford Kuga, which was awarded a maximum five-star Euro NCAP rating, is among the safest cars in its class."

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the Ford Ireland family and to be named as a Ford Ambassador." says Karen Koster. "The Kuga is the ideal car for my hectic lifestyle since the arrival of baby Finn.  It is really stylish and a definite head-turner and most importantly the Kuga has all the safety features to give me peace of mind.  It also has plenty of space for the buggy and shopping bags.  I'm definitely looking forward to driving it around town and away for family breaks in Ireland."

Karen is driving the Kuga Titanium 2.0 TDCi automatic 150PS AWD 5 door with a Titanium S Pack: full body dress up kit; 19'' 5-spoke alloy wheels; roof rails and active park assist.  It also comes with active city stop (which helps to avoid low speed collisions) and privacy glass.
