The TecAlliance brand, which encompasses the TecDoc, TecCom, Headlines and RMI technical service data platforms, will again be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham in order to continue to raise awareness of its multiple services and the opportunities it provides across the entire aftermarket.

Central to the TecAlliance programme will once more be its presence during the technical seminars, recognising that providing accurate, up-to-date and reliable technical information is a key element within the company’s portfolio and vital for technicians to enable them to compete in the market.

“Entitled ‘Tackling Technology’ and presented by Ralf Pelkmann, Director of Data Development, this year’s seminar presentation is a must for technicians as they face significant challenges in the repair market,” explained Shaun Greasley, TecAlliance’s Regional Sales Director. He added, “As the pace of change is affecting every system within the modern vehicle, workshops need reliable and informative technical service and repair data to enable them to tackle these challenges, which is where our RMI system comes to the fore. As Ralf’s presentation explains, when technicians are equipped with authoritative data, they are then in a position to compete for all the work in the market, irrespective of its complexity, and subsequently share in the profit opportunities, particularly when they can also gain access to vehicle manufacturer recall and service update information.”

At the TecAlliance stand, located at 20F100 in hall 20, in addition to this RMI technical data, visitors can also try the world-renowned TecDoc parts identification system, an electronic catalogue that not only provides instant and accurate parts data from more than 600 global aftermarket brands, but links these replacement components with the tools required to fit them, the comparative price of the dealer part and the VMs scheduled fitting time.
