In its new calendar Passion 2015, Spies Hecker presents rare vehicles from eight countries, with the aim to bring the brand closer to customers around the world.

To make sure the 2015 calendar was better than ever, the Spies Hecker team visited bodyshops in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and the UK to get the most exciting images possible.

Highlights of the calendar include, the very rare NSU TT Kohlmus Scirocco, of which only a handful still exist in the world, and the oldest vehicle included in the calendar, a BMW 328 from 1939. Other notable inclusions are an immaculately restored 1962 Morris Minor from the Czech town of Varnsdorf and a Dodge Deluxe four-door Sedan with two-tone paintwork.

The April image shows a Mercedes-Benz F1-W04. This year the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team won the 2014 FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Championship with the new Mercedes-Benz F1 W05 Hybrid. Spies Hecker, one of the team’s Official Team Suppliers, was delighted to have been involved with the car, creating its distinctive silver aluminium effect bodywork.

“Many of our customers from all over Europe submitted amazing vehicles that they had worked on with passion, so deciding which ones to include in the calendar was not easy,” says Anthony Cashel, Marketing Manager for Axalta Coating Systems. The geographical origins of the wide range vehicles are also surprising. There is a German Corvette as well as a Finish Austin Mini.” He added, “They all have one thing in common, they have been refinished with loving attention-to-detail and highly-skilled craftsmanship. The calendar’s pages clearly show how passionately refinishers around the world work with Spies Hecker products.”

Applications for the Spies Hecker calendar Passion 2016 can be submitted up until 15 February 2015. The 2015 Spies Hecker calendar Passion 2015 can be ordered from the Spies Hecker web shop at www.spiesheckerwebshop.co.uk in the literature/poster section. Colour Club Advance members will automatically receive their free copy, as part of their update programme.
