Laser introduces new brake pipe and tube straightener

Laser has introduced a new tool designed to straighten coils of brake pipe quickly and easily. The new Laser Tools brake pipe straightener, part no 6915, can make hand fabricated brake pipes look like factory replacements.

The tool is hand-operated and works on thin wall annealed brake pipe or tubing and is adjustable for three sizes, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm. It is suitable for copper, copper-nickel or steel brake pipes and 10mm copper microbore pipe used for central heating and air-conditioning installations.

Once the pipe straightener is adjusted to the correct size, the pipe is simply uncoiled then steadily pushed through the tool; then the tool is run backwards and forwards along the length of the pipe, with the smooth bearings of the steel rollers making this an easy task.

The tool is suitable for modern vehicles and particularly useful for the classic car enthusiast. It is available now from Laser Tool stockists.
