With the aim of making refinish jobs quicker and more economical, Spies Hecker has launched its very fast Permasolid Express Surfacer Accelerator 9250 which speeds up drying of Permasolid HS Express Surfacer 5250.

Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta says, “The reliable Permasolid HS Express Surfacer 5250 can normally be sanded after 60 to 120 minutes at 20°C ambient air temperature. However, if refinishers use the new Permasolid Express Surfacer Accelerator 9250, they can cut drying times at room temperature down to about 30 minutes.”

Kevin points out that by offering Permasolid Express Surfacer Accelerator 9250 for use in combination with Permasolid HS Express Surfacer 5250, Spies Hecker is providing bodyshops a particularly efficient, and potentially energy-saving solution for refinish jobs.

The VOC compliant 2K sanding surfacer is available in white, mid-grey and black and can also be mixed with Permasolid VHS Hardeners. When used together, Permasolid Express Surfacer Accelerator 9250 and Permasolid HS Express Surfacer 5250 delivers benefits to bodyshops that air-dry outside the spray booth.
